Gallery Settings
Overview
Gallery settings control the visual presentation of your gallery—from the overall layout to colors, fonts, and how images are displayed. These settings are found in the Gallery Settings panel when you create or edit a gallery.
Layout & Appearance
Layout
Choose how images are presented to clients. Available layouts include:
- Hero — A large featured image at the top with images below. Perfect for showcasing one standout shot.
- Knockout — Bold, full-width layout with large images. Great for product or architectural photography.
- Vertical — Clean layout with the gallery title on the left sidebar.
- Scroll — Images scroll horizontally. Compact and modern.
- Simple — Clean grid presentation. Perfect for galleries that let the work speak for itself.
Color Mode & Primary Color
Color Mode controls the overall theme: Light (white background) or Dark (dark background).
Primary Color lets you override the default theme color for buttons and accents. Choose any hex color to match your brand.
Hero Settings (Hero Layout Only)
- Hero Image — Which image appears as the featured hero at the top.
- Hero Text Align — Position the gallery title over the hero image: left, center, or right.
- Hero Title Theme — Light (white) or dark text for the title, depending on the hero image.
Grid & Sorting
Grid Style
Choose how images are arranged in the grid:
- Grid — Uniform rows and columns, all thumbnails the same size.
- Masonry — Pinterest-style layout that adjusts to image aspect ratios for a more organic look.
Images display in the order you arrange them manually. Drag and drop to reorder.
Description Block
You can add an optional text block below the gallery header to describe the shoot, provide context, or add instructions for clients.
- Description Title — Optional heading for the block (e.g., "About This Shoot").
- Description Text — The main description, formatted with rich text (bold, italic, links, etc.).
- Alignment — Left, center, or right alignment for the text.
Password Protection
Add an optional password gate to restrict access to your gallery. Clients will need to enter the password before viewing.
💡 Pro Tip
Password protection is great for private proofs or client-only galleries. Use simple, memorable passwords you can easily share via email or text.
Note: Password protection is disabled if you enable Store mode.
